This test can be taken with or without glasses.

To take this test correctly, it is necessary to place yourself at a distance from the screen of approximately:

7 feet for a 20″ screen,

5 feet for a 17″ screen,

2 feet for a 15″ screen,

1 foot for a 14″ screen.

Cover the left eye with your hand and read the test below, letter by letter. When done, cover the other eye and begin the test again.

If you were able to read all the letters with the right eye as with the left eye, you probably have good ‘central acuity’.

If you did not manage to read all the letters, either with one eye or with both, visiting Bahamas Retina may be a good idea.
